At 5 years old, I saw FANTASIA and was completely blown away by the music, movement and artwork. There was something that drew me to it like a moth to a flame. Ever since then I have wanted that same feeling again and again.

I practice my craft not to duplicate art presented to me, but to capture the emotion within.
When approaching another’s piece of work, I see it, or not. The language tells me who the artist is and what he or she puts into it. The blood, sweat and tears are all there for one to see; whether it is created with a #2 pencil, ink, pastels, watercolors, oils, wood, metal, fabrics, plastic or mixed media.

When it comes to my work, I am the worst critic of all. I see every detail and any mistake before others. I do the work in my mind for a long time before creating a piece to my satisfaction.
